What makes this event unique?
You must have played consistently good tennis all year to be invited, there are no easy matches because the best eight players in the world are here and the round-robin format makes it a great showpiece for fans.
Who will be champion then?
Novak Djokovic and Andy Murray have played the best tennis over the past six months and both will be fired up to win this.
How much improvement is there in Murray?s game?
I see no reason why he cannot enjoy an even better year in 2013 now he has won his first grand slam. He could easily tuck a couple more major titles under his belt and be the main threat to Novak in an exciting 12 months.
What?s the big difference??
He has made technical and mental improvements since teaming up with new coach Ivan Lendl. My old opponent also went several years without winning a grand slam before he really broke through and I can imagine they had a lot of heart-to-hearts about Andy?s game.
The ATP World Tour Finals start at London's O2 Arena tomorrow.
